Hi, I'm Syazni Aizat — a freelance photographer based in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia, specializing in aerial, travel, documentary and aviation photography.

I picked up my first camera at 17, and what started as curiosity gradually became a way of seeing the world differently. After completing my MSc in Geographical Information Systems in 2017, I made a deliberate choice — to pursue photography full-time and document the places, people and moments that most people walk past without stopping for.

My work spans drone aerials over Malaysian landscapes and coastlines, documentary series in Japan, the Middle East and Southeast Asia, aviation and airshow photography across military and civil events, and travel photography that tries to go beyond the obvious frame. I'm drawn to the intersections — where geography meets human presence, where infrastructure meets nature, where the extraordinary quietly exists alongside the everyday.

The stories that matter to me are the ones that require patience. A train threading through autumn fog. A fighter jet caught at the exact moment of landing. A fisherman on a reservoir at golden hour, unaware he's in the frame. These are the photographs I chase.
